Wedding venue – All Saints’ Church in Stock, Essex
It’s always a huge pleasure to photograph couples weddings and as a wedding photographer I get used to photographing in regular venues and locations, which is nice. Some of my favourites include, Gosfield Hall, The Fennes, Baddow Park, Dove Barn, The White Hart, Parklands and Braintree Town Hall.
However it’s also nice to photograph at new locations and I have a number of these coming up this year
One of those is at All Saints’ Church in Stock; I’m looking forward to photographing Cassandra and Edwards wedding there this summer. If I haven’t photographed at a particular venue before then I always like to visit it beforehand to make sure I’m familiar with the premises and local area. (Part of being a good photographer is preparation and planning).
I was really impressed with All Saints’; in fairness I am fairly familiar with the location and have driven past the church on numerous occasions but have never actually been there. So I was looking forward to my visit. I was met there by Father Steven Need, who will be conducting the wedding on the day. He was a really nice guy and we had a good chat about the layout of the church, the procedure on the day and the best vantage points to photograph the wedding.
It’s a beautiful looking church both inside and out and now I’m even more excited about photographing the big day.
