I recently photographed the wedding of Jade and Dave in the charming village of Long Melford in Suffolk. Jade and David who live in the nearby village of Glemsford were married in Holy Trinity Church followed by a reception at the Bull Hotel. Both wonderful historic buildings and both fantastic for beautiful wedding photography.

Children’s portrait photography – ‘studio portrait photography’’
Kian is going to be two years old very soon and so his mum Abi decided it would be a good time to get some up to date portraits done. Having spent some time discussing her requirements we decided to go for a studio portrait shoot. She wanted a nice set of framed prints for their home and a selection of smaller photographs to give as gifts to relatives and friends.
Back in February of this year I did a pre wedding shoot with Gemma McCoyd and Joe MacAndrews, both from Ipswich in Suffolk. That shoot took place in the public gardens in Halstead on what was a very cold, windy and showery day.
As I said back then I was due to photograph their wedding later in the year and now that time has finally arrived – well in fact it has been and gone. They actually got married in St Andrews church in Halstead on the 19th March followed by a reception at Smeetham Hall Barn
In October 2010, I visited Gaynor and Tony at their home in Braintree where, after showing them my portfolio and talking about the photographic services I offered, they booked me to photograph their wedding. The wedding is to be at Prested Hall, near Kelvedon in Essex on the 29th April this year.
This was obviously to be quite a popular date as since they decided upon it, a certain William and Kate have also decided to get married on the same day, unfortunately for them Prested Hall was already booked.

A few weeks ago I completed a pre wedding photo shoot with Louise and Mike, a really great couple, from Milford in Surrey. They both work for the same company involved in developing computer software and although they are based in Surrey Louise actually originates from Sudbury in Suffolk. It was in Sudbury, at Louise’s mums in fact, that I first met them almost a year ago and when they booked me to photograph their wedding.
A couple of weeks ago on a fine Saturday morning I went out on a photo shoot with student photographer, Becca Sidhu. Those of you that follow this blog will know that Becca is doing a photography course and has an interest in fashion photography but also enjoys wedding and portrait photography.

Last week I photographed baby Ava – May together with her mum Lauren and Dad Aaron, (who, I have to say, were very well behaved).
Ava – May is such a sweet little baby and was a great pleasure to photograph; we even got the odd smile now and then, (or was it just wind?) Lauren bought her a few changes of clothes and this helped to keep the session going and to give some additional variety to the final images.
