I was recently commissioned to take some family portrait photographs to mark a 60th Birthday celebration. However not only was it the ‘mums’ birthday celebration it was also a family reunion as it was a fairly unique opportunity for all the family members to get together all at the same time, people had travelled from across Essex and from as far away as Surrey.
There were 12 people in all, as well as three dogs who wanted to get in on the act.
A couple of weeks ago I completed a pre wedding photo shoot at Stock Brook Manor located between Bilericay and Stock in Essex. I have completed a number of pre wedding shoots over the years and all of them are
It was a great joy recently for me to photograph the wedding of Emma and Andrew at Castle Hedingham in north Essex. I started the day by Photographing Emma at her parents’ house in nearby Gosfield, She spent the morning
It was my privilege back on the 29th April to photograph the wedding of Gaynor and Tony at Prested Hall near Kelvedon in Essex. As I’m sure most of you remember this was also a special day for another wedding as well – of course I’m referring to the Royal Wedding of William and Kate at Westminster Abbey. (As I had already agreed to photograph Gaynor and Tony’s wedding I unfortunately had to let Will’s and Kate down! But I think they managed to find someone else!).
Essex Wedding Photography Pre wedding photoshoot with Emma Andrew Emma and Andrew are a fantastic couple who live in Sible Hedingham north Essex. Their plan is to get married at St Nicholas’s church in nearby Castle Hedingham and then
A few weeks ago I was commissioned to shoot some family portrait photographs for a family living at West Mersea in Essex. I have actually photographed Jane (mum) and Tabitha (daughter) before (see here) but this time they were joined by (dad) Dominic.
What they wanted were some outdoor shots of the family having fun together but also a few posed shots, semi formal shots where they would all sit and face towards the camera.
In my previous post I exhibited some of the photographs taken during Gemma and Joe’s wedding in St Andrews church in Halstead Essex. Well two days prior to the wedding they had a rehearsal in the same church around 6.30 in the evening. At this time it was dark outside and there was little light inside the church so I used this opportunity to practice some very low light photography and used what little light there was to produce some dramatic and artistic images.
Back in February of this year I did a pre wedding shoot with Gemma McCoyd and Joe MacAndrews, both from Ipswich in Suffolk. That shoot took place in the public gardens in Halstead on what was a very cold, windy and showery day.
As I said back then I was due to photograph their wedding later in the year and now that time has finally arrived – well in fact it has been and gone. They actually got married in St Andrews church in Halstead on the 19th March followed by a reception at Smeetham Hall Barn
In October 2010, I visited Gaynor and Tony at their home in Braintree where, after showing them my portfolio and talking about the photographic services I offered, they booked me to photograph their wedding. The wedding is to be at Prested Hall, near Kelvedon in Essex on the 29th April this year.
This was obviously to be quite a popular date as since they decided upon it, a certain William and Kate have also decided to get married on the same day, unfortunately for them Prested Hall was already booked.
A few weeks ago I met up with Gaynor and Tony at Prested Hall to do a pre wedding photo shoot.
A couple of weeks ago on a fine Saturday morning I went out on a photo shoot with student photographer, Becca Sidhu. Those of you that follow this blog will know that Becca is doing a photography course and has an interest in fashion photography but also enjoys wedding and portrait photography.
On this occasion Becca had arranged for a couple of her friends Emma and Jade to be our models for the day. The plan was to go out on a walk around Gosfield,
‘Focus on Imaging’ On Tuesday I ventured north to the National Exhibition Center (NEC) near Birmingham to attend the annual ‘Focus on Imaging’ event. ‘Focus’ as it’s generally referred to is Europe’s biggest annual imaging show, and covers all your
Portrait Photography in Gosfield Essex Justin is very much in to re-enactment and likes nothing better than the stale smell of sweat mixed with the acrid aroma of gunpowder whilst enduring a hard day on the battlefields of Essex. (He
