Prested Hall – Pre Wedding Photo Shoot.
One of the reasons I love being a wedding photographer is because I get to photograph great people like Gayner and Tony. l first met them at their home in Braintree, where after showing them my portfolio and talking about the photographic services I offered, they booked me to photograph their wedding. The wedding is to be at Prested Hall, near Kelvedon in Essex on the 29th April this year.
This was obviously to be quite a popular date as since they decided upon it, a certain William and Kate have also decided to get married on the same day, unfortunately for them Prested Hall was already booked.
A few weeks ago I met up with Gaynor and Tony at Prested Hall to do a pre wedding photo shoot. Gaynor had previously said she was quite nervous about being photographed and so thought a pre wedding shoot would be an excellent idea. I have to agree, it’s a great way for the three of us to get to know each other and for me to give them some tips on how to pose and feel relaxed in front of the camera.
Just like my two previous pre wedding photo shoots (if you follow my blog you will know this) the weather was a bit cold and a bit windy and at some point during the session it began to rain – in fact when it came time to leave the venue it was absolutely ‘chucking it down’.
Non-the less we had a really good shoot, using mostly natural light and a variety of different poses. Both of them said they benefitted greatly from the experience and were delighted with the photos.
