If you read my blog post Model / Portrait Photography with Caroline (part1) which I’m sure you did! Then you would have been eagerly awaiting part 2, and ‘TaDaa’ here it is.

The first selection of images here were taken in the studio using a variety of different lighting styles. Starting with a very fresh bright look and then moving on to more stylised Hollwoodesque hard lighting. (which I love and I think Caroline modelled and suited perfectly).

The final images were taken in downtown Hull after dark. This was another great opportunity to work with supplementary lighting and creating a dynamic balance between the ambient / background lights and flash, again I love these results.

On the day of the shoot it was bitterly cold and windy and so I just want to say a big thanks to Caroline our model who braved it all and remained totally natural and very professional all day, she is highly recommended.

A big thanks also of course for John and Liz Denton of Denton Photography for their advice and training over the three days
