Family portrait photography – all the girls
I love photographing portraits whether it is in the studio, at client’s homes or else lifestyle portraits outside or on location. This particular session was photographed in my home studio.
I was contacted by Natalie, who lives in earls Colne, a few weeks previously, saying that she wanted some portraits taken of her mum, her sister, her daughter and herself and she wanted a mixture with some shots of them all together and some taken individually.
I shot some portraits for Natalie a couple of years back when her daughter Katie was only four, these were a series of portraits of just Katie with her Nan., which were a mix of shots taken in the studio and in the local park. Natalie told me she loved these photos and that’s why she had come back for more. Photographers like everyone else love to hear positive comments about their work and there is no greater compliment than when people recommend you to their friends and family or else when they come back for more.
To be honest I get a lot of my wedding and portrait work through recommendations and it really is fantastic.
The shoot went really well, everyone soon relaxed and got in to it, we did a few set changes we had a chat, we had a laugh, we had a cup of tea and generally everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Best of all we got some fantastic photo’s Natalie, her mum Julie, sister Georgie and daughter Katie were delighted with the results and have already purchased about 18 different photographs.
