Engagement Photo Shoot – Thaxted
I recently did a pre wedding photo shoot with Corrine and Adam in Adam’s home town of Thaxted in North Essex.
I love to photograph weddings, to work closely with the bride and groom and to fulfil their wishes by presenting them with beautiful and natural images of their special day.
One of the best ways, I find, of helping to do this is by getting to know them beforehand and making a personal connection with them. What better way to do that than by way of a pre wedding photo shoot. A chance to get together have a chat (and a laugh) and find out a bit more about each other. I get to find out (if I don’t know already) how long they have been together how they met, what their hobbies and interests are and how the wedding plans are coming along.
I get a chance to give them some tips on how to pose and how to feel comfortable in front of the camera. All the while they get to know a little more about me, to trust me and feel relaxed in front of my camera. Then on the wedding day itself they feel much more comfortable with me and enjoy the experience of having their wedding photographs taken
I first met Corrine and Adam back in January when they booked me to photograph their wedding and it was really nice to see them again on the evening of the shoot. They were great fun to work with; a really lovely couple and we all had a great couple of hours or so walking around and taking the photographs.
