I recently went with my two sons, Rob and Nick to see one of my all-time favourite bands, Counting Crows, at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.
Counting Crows are an American band from Berkeley in California. They formed in 1991 and band members consist of Adam Duritz (lead vocals, piano), David Bryson (guitar), Charlie Gillingham (accordion, keyboards), Dan Vickrey (lead guitar), David Immerglück (guitar, banjo, mandolin), Jim Bogios (drums) and Millard Powers (bass).
One of their first albums I ever listened to was their debut album, August and Everything After in 1993, which featured the hit single “Mr Jones”. They have sold in excess of 20 million albums worldwide and 2004 they received an Academy Award nomination for their song “Accidentally in Love”, which was included in the film Shrek 2.
If you have never heard of them or have never listened to their music I highly recommend you give them a try.
I was actually pretty pleased how these photos turned out especially given that we were in the seated area towards the back, most were taken with a Nikon 50mm 1.4 and a few with the Nikon 70 – 200 2.8 until I got told by staff to stop using it ??
